Davis Woodruff


After spending a year working with Combined Insurance, Davis joined AmeriLife in 2015 at the Greensboro,
North Carolina office. This was where he grew as an insurance planner under the mentorship and training of the
Nation’s largest privately held senior servicing agency.



In late 2017, Davis moved to the Triangle area to manage the AmeriLife office in Cary, North Carolina. This was
where he led and mentored other upcoming agents in the industry. He would run a successful office with his
knowledgeable-based agents for the next six years.


In early 2023, Davis returned to his primary passion of working more one-on-one with people in the community.
He took a step back from teaching new agents and began focusing more on educating seniors on how to not
only thrive in life but also their retirement. Hosting educational seminars in the community aided in this goal of
helping people become more knowledgeable of their lives, loved ones, and future generations.


Davis’ personal background is what drives him to help seniors plan correctly. Davis grew up close to his
grandparents in Elkin, NC. Unfortunately, his grandmother developed Alzheimer’s disease in her mid to late 60’s.
Over the years, the disease would progress to the point where she could no longer care for herself or be left
alone. Thankfully, a good insurance planner had put together the proper plan to take care of her during those
hard times. Davis and his family were grateful that the proper insurance plan had the positive impact of
providing his grandmother with the care she deserved. Davis prides himself on his top-level knowledge and
customer service to strive to be what the senior community needs. He always wants to help provide the right
guidance to prepare for times of need just as his grandmother’s planner did for her.
